at my core, I’m an artist.

it’s the piloting factor in my life, and i lean on that a lot in my design work [which you may have already noticed 😉]. as designers we’re so often expected to be a neutral canvas…which is fine. but i think what elevates something from good-enough to great, is a personal touch. cool things happen when i get to bring my creative thinking to the table. what matters is finding the balance between personal design style and maintaining a brands authentic voice. that balance is where experimentation and play gets to happen, and where I thrive.

when i’m not in front of a computer screen, i like to spend my time doing other creative things [shocking, i know]. i have celiac disease, which means i make most of my meals at home. to some this may sound daunting, but i love to cook and experiment in the kitchen! though, my favorite thing of all is sewing. i love working with my hands and learning about how things are constructed. I make a lot of my own clothing and find joy in expressing myself through my personal fashion sense.

i’m based in portland, oregon and live with my husband and our two cats sweatpants and soup. we love the energy of pdx and exploring all the unique neighborhoods the city has to offer. whether we’re thrifting, supporting the arts, or seeing live music, portland feels like our little PNW wonderland.
